Warranty and Right to Refuse
Upon receiving the item, make sure that the product matches the order.
Product’s best before date and manufacturer are indicated on the package. The Seller (Pharmacy) ensures that all medicaments sold are provided in accordance with standard regulations on the usage of medications and labeling, and that the information on proper and safe usage is added.
Warranty is the producer’s or seller’s promise to repay the consumer for an item or product, to exchange an item for appropriate one, to reconcile inconsistencies of goods or an item without compensation or to take other actions if goods or products do not match the warranty description.
The right to refuse is the consumer’s right to withdraw from a contract (to refuse the order) without paying any penalties, interest or losses during the stated period (14 calendar days).
Warranty and right to refuse are used in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia and corresponding to the type of goods sold and their specific characteristics.
If the Buyer has saved a purchase receipt, he/she can exercise the right of warranty. A purchase receipt should be provided to the Seller (at the Pharmacy) along with the purchased product.
If the Buyer wants to exercise the right to refuse, it should be noted that the right to refuse can not be exercised:
- After the expiration of the term stated in the law;
- If packaging is opened and/or damaged;
- In relation to goods with fast usage terms, including medicaments, hygiene items and cosmetics.
In case of exercising the right to refuse, the Buyer should bring the item to the address of the Seller (Pharmacy) with a purchase receipt, a form of refusal and a warranty leaflet if such was provided to the Buyer.
The Buyer will receive the money, paid for the returned item, in full amount within 30 (thirty) days after receipt of a written refusal.
