The special property of Ultrastop is that it realiably prevents fogging on the surfaces of medical lenses. Surface-active substances in a special combination form and absolutely clear and transparent film on the treated surfaces. This extremely thin film prevents the formation of droplets when water vapour becomes condensed; thus it prevents fogging pf the surface.
Apply Ultrastop directly or by means of an Ultrastop moistened sterile gauze to the desinfected or sterilised dry and clean surface and spread evently. Leave it to act for a short time and after evaporation, if necessary, gently polish with sterile non-theading gauze.
Ultrastop contains no glycerine or similar substances and if used properly does not smear. However, if too much is used the surface may appear cloudy. In this case the surface should be cleaned with distilled water or sterile gauze and the above mentioned procedure should be repeated.
