Ingredients

NO-SPA tablets contain drotaverin hydrochloride, a spasmolytic agent. It relaxes smooth muscle in the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract, genital organs and vascular system.

It is used to reduce smooth muscle spasms in the following cases:

- gallstone disease, inflammation of the gall bladder (cholecystitis), inflammation of the bile duct (cholangitis and papillitis);

- kidney stones (nephrolithiasis), ureter stones (ureterolithiasis), inflammation of the kidney, inflammation of the bladder, and bladder spasms.

For ancillary therapy in the following cases:

- Spasm of the smooth muscle in the gastrointestinal tract: gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, stomach cramps and spasm of the wart, inflammation of the small intestine (enteritis), inflammation of the large intestine (colitis), spastic colitis with constipation and abdominal distension (meteorism) irritable bowel syndrome in case;

- tension headaches;

- painful periods.

Direction for use

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as a doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Recommended dose for adults: 1 or 2 tablets (40-80 mg) 2 to 3 times daily. The maximum number of tablets per day is 6 tablets (240 mg).

Active substance is drotaveren hydrochloride. Each NO-SPA 40 mg tablet contains 40 mg of drotaverin hydrochloride.

Excipients are magnesium stearate, talc, polyvidone, corn starch, lactose.
