Ingredients

Strepsils Menthol & Eucalyptus contains two substances with antiseptic properties, used to treat throat diseases. These medicines are used for oral and throat inflammation symptomatic relief. These ingredients have mild antiseptic properties, kills the bacteria that cause oral and throat infections. While sucking tablets, the active substance acts directly in discomfort zone and helps soften and soothe the aching place. This helps to reduce the pain and discomfort of the oral cavity and throat infections.

Direction for use

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. You should consult with your doctor or pharmacist. For oral use.

Dosage and method of administration: Adults and children 6 years of age: one lozenge every 2 - 3 hours, but not more than 8 tablets per day.

Elderly patients do not require dose reduction.

Medicines should not be used in children under 6 years.

The minimum effective dose should be used for the shortest time required for the symptoms relief. If symptoms worsen or persist within 3 days, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.

The active substances are 2,4-dihlorbenzyl alcohol, amylmetacresol and levomenthol. One lozenge contains 1.2 mg of 2,4-dihlorbenzyl alcohol,0.6 mg of amylmetacresol and 8.0 mg of natural or synthetic levomenthol.

Excipients: demineralized liquid sucrose or liquid sucrose * T & L * T1001, liquid glucose *, tartaric gran 571 GDE, eucalyptus oil, indigo BP 73 (E132).
